The Time Travellers team is led by Jon Price and Elaine Parker.

Jon Price has a background in museums and archaeology. He is currently a senior lecturer in the Arts Management Unit at Northumbria University, an honorary lecturer in the International Center for Cultural Studies at Newcastle University, and vice chair of the Northern Cultural Skills Partnership.

Elaine Parker has a background in drama and education. She has a regular involvement with government funded programmes addressing social exclusion in the North East, and provides workshops for youth performers, including the cast of Tyne Tees Television's Byker Grove.
